Airport owner and developer and lifelong pilot Jack Lenhardt passed away Thursday, January 7th, 2010

In 1998 Lenhardt Airpark was officially designated as "airport land use" versus "farm land use".   This paved the way for future development of the facilities and the building of hangars.

The owner of the airpark, Jack Lenhardt, received approvals to structure the airport as a pilot-owned, public use airport and condo hangars have been built for sale and lease.  Several phases of this project spanned over several years and there are currently 50 hangars on the field.
