Jake Jacobs 1968 Cardinal 180HP - Hangar 29

Jake always had the dream of flying and enjoyed a Navy stint with VS-38 as an S2F crewmember and mechanic, including a tour on the USS Hornet.  Many years passed, but not the yearning for the left seat, so in the mid 80s he signed up for lessons with CFI Dave Hays at Aurora and soloed a C-150 in June 1985.  He then rushed out and bought a pristine 1968 Cardinal completed VFR and IFR training and went on to log 2500 hours in this bird so far.  Jake moved to Airhaven from Aurora in 2001 and is currently in hangar 29.  The Cardinal normally flies 150 hours per year but 2003 has seen limited time aloft due to a paint job, long annual and other maintenance items.  But, N3460T is ready to go for 2004.
