Bill Kennedy - Hangar 35

After flying F105s in the Air Force, Bill wanted a fast, sleek, low wing fighter that he could take to the skies in civilian life.  Building his own seemed like the logical choice so he hunkered down and fabricated the composite parts of a Lancair 320.  Moving into hangar 35 at Airhaven gave him a place to do the final assembly and he spent many long hours during the summer, fall and winter of 2003.  It soon began to look like a plane and the runup in December made it sound like one as well.  Then, just before Christmas, high speed taxi tests and checkout of his Blue Mountain EFIS avionics system were underway.  Keep your eyes on the sky, Bill and his bird will be there very soon. It flew 5/8/04(picture below)
